Overview
This privacy policy applies to the Book Driving app. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects:
- Device tokens for push notifications
- User preferences (selected test centers, dates, and times)
- MyGovID credentials (only if you enable Auto Login; stored only on your device)
- Basic device information for security and verification
If you enable Auto Login, your credentials are stored securely only on your device and are used solely by your device to maintain your session with the RSA portal. You may disable this feature at any time in the app settings, and your credentials will no longer be used for automatic login.
Third Party Services
The Application uses:
- Firebase Firestore & Cloud Messaging for push notifications
Data Usage
Your preferences are used solely to send notifications about test availability and to enable auto-booking.
Data Collection from RSA
The app collects and displays test center availability data from the RSA (Road Safety Authority) website. This data requires authentication and is the same as available to authenticated users on the RSA website. The app does not store or modify the original RSA data.
Data Storage & Security
- User preferences are stored securely on your device and/or our servers
- Auto Login credentials are encrypted and stored securely only on your device
- We do not share your credentials with third parties
- No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure
Data Deletion
You can delete all your preferences and stored credentials by uninstalling the app, or using the Drop Cache/Data button in the app.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Users must be at least 16 years old to consent to the processing of their information.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
