1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Book Driving app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Book Driving is a service that helps users find and book driving test appointments in Ireland. The app provides:
- Viewing of available driving test slots
- Push notifications for test availability
- Filtering options to find tests matching your preferences
- Auto-booking functionality to automatically book tests when they become available
- Integration with the RSA (Road Safety Authority) MyRoadSafety portal
3. RSA Account & Auto-Booking
To use the auto-booking feature, you must have a valid MyRoadSafety account with the RSA and an existing driving test application. By connecting your account, you authorise Book Driving to:
- Access your MyRoadSafety account on your behalf
- View available test slots matching your preferences
- Automatically book test appointments when available
You are responsible for ensuring your RSA account credentials are accurate and that you have a valid test application. Book Driving is not affiliated with the RSA.
4. Auto-Login & Session Management
If you enable Auto Login, you consent to Book Driving securely storing your MyGovID credentials on your device for the sole purpose of maintaining your authenticated session and enabling auto-booking functionality. Your credentials are used only by your device to log in and refresh your session. Book Driving does not store your credentials on its servers. You may disable this feature at any time in the app settings. Book Driving is not liable for any unauthorised access to your RSA account resulting from your use of Auto Login.
5. Subscription & Payments
Certain features may require a one-time payment (such as the Auto-Booking Pass). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe handles payment processing in accordance with Stripe's terms and privacy policy, and Book Driving does not store your full payment card details on its own servers.
- Payments are one-time purchases and do not automatically renew
- You can request a refund by contacting us at info@spsv.online in accordance with our Refund Policy
- All payments are encrypted and processed using Stripe's secure infrastructure
6. Booking Policy
While Book Driving strives to help you find available driving test slots, we cannot guarantee:
- The availability of test slots at any given time
- The accuracy or timeliness of test availability information
- Successful booking of any specific test slot
- The continued operation or accessibility of the RSA website or portal
Test slots are limited and subject to high demand. Multiple users may be competing for the same slots.
7. Refund Policy
A refund may be issued if the auto-booking service fails to secure a driving test appointment on your behalf, provided all of the following conditions are met:
- Your RSA account has an active service credit at the time of searching.
- At least 15 days have passed since your most recent driving test.
- You have actively used the auto-booking feature on a daily basis for a minimum of 7 consecutive days without a test being successfully booked.
To request a refund, contact us at info@spsv.online with your account details. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and we reserve the right to decline requests where the above criteria have not been met.
Users are not entitled to a refund for any other reason, including but not limited to: a test being successfully booked, changes to preferences, technical issues, or service interruptions.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
- Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Ensure your RSA account remains in good standing
- Verify any booked test details directly with the RSA
9. Limitation of Liability
Book Driving and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Any missed test appointments or booking failures
- Any fees, penalties, or costs incurred with the RSA
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Service interruptions or technical issues
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Book Driving and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
